Sporting Competitions 2017/18

We have run numerous sports clubs at lunchtime and after school which have been so well attended we have often had to enter two teams in the Dorking tournaments. 116 children from Years 3-6 represented the school in sporting competitions in 2016-17.

We have taken part in the county cross country where one of our pupils came joint 1st and was selected for the county team.

We had two children selected to represent Dorking in the quad kids athletics district team at the county finals.

12/07/18: Year 3/4 Tri Golf, County Champions

06/04/18: Sportshall Athletics, 4th County Finals

05/07/18: District Athletics, 1st in the throwing, 2nd in girls track, 2nd in relay, 3rd in jumping, 4th boys track and 3rd overall.

02/07/18: Year 5/6 Mixed Rounders, 4th

26/06/18: Year 3/4 Mixed Rounders, 5th

11/06/18: Year 3/4 Mini Tennis, A team 4th, B team 6th

07/06/18: Years 3/4 Tri Golf, A team 1st, B team 2nd

22/05/18: Years 5/6 Girls cricket, 2nd

21/05/18: Years 3/4/5 and 6 Swimming, 6th

04/05/18: Years 5/6 Boys cricket, 2nd

06/04/18: Sportshall Athletics, 4th in the County Final
