Empathy Day 2020
On Tuesday 96h June 2020, the children in their bubbles celebrated Empathy Day 2020. During a virtual assembly, the children wore their self-made and self-designed empathy glasses. The children spent time learning about what empathy is and how it is one of their own super powers to make our world a better place. The Year 5 and 6 children also reflected on books that they have read, including their current class text, ‘Pig Heart Boy’, which demonstrate empathy.
